    Giving Choices

    As our children grow up, we want them to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and able to make intelligent thought out decisions. For this to happen, it must be taught, preferably at a young age. Albeit, children should not run the house or the primary decisions makers, however, give kids a choice, within preset limitations, will challenge and increase their decision making ability, and will also let them start to understand that they can change the world around them.     Dr. Seuss summarized being a child perfectly. Everyday when a child wakes up, all they look forward to is being delighted, having an opportunity to laugh, and have fun.     Orders are coming in to the center already. We just received our dress up unit so kids be engaged in dramatic play! Dramatic is a type of play where children accept and assign roles, and then act them out. It is a time when they break through the walls of reality, pretend to be someone or something different from themselves, and dramatize situations and actions to go along with the roles they have chosen to play.     The Daycare Center is quickly coming underway. Being able to work everyday on building your dream is such a thrilling experience. Today we were able to order Mother Goose curriculum (https://www.mothergoosetime.com/) to provide quality education to our Preschoolers and begin early literacy with our 2-year-olds. We are researching playground equipment and our center stations. We are also happy to host an Open House in Tuesday, July 25th from 9am to 4pm. This is a come and go
